Six socials across the two metros this weekend, and two of them put a free lesson in front of the dancing. If you have been meaning to start, this is a good week for it.
Friday
Brasil’s runs its usual Latin night with the 9:30 lesson. Atrium in Pennsauken opens with a free lesson at 8:15 and goes till 2 AM. Controla Fridays is on at Pivot Ballroom in Ardmore — first and third Fridays only, so check the date before you drive out. Take The Lead in Hockessin starts earliest at 6:45 with the class first, no partner needed.
Saturday
Brasil’s again, same 9:00 start and 9:30 lesson. It is the busiest floor of the weekend.
Sunday
Salsero Sundays at Adelphia in Deptford, 9:00. A slower, more social room — a good landing spot if Friday wore you out.
